President Bush Stops In At Redstone; Still Passing On St. Augustine

Bob Strauss caught this shot of former President George H.W. Bush for PGATour.com attending the Shell Houston Open with son Jeb. Great to see he's looking well as always, which only makes his decision to skip his World Golf Hall of Fame induction that much more of a headscratcher.

Maybe he agree with you and some others that he doesn't deserve induction...

That is his son he's with, however, it's Marvin, not Jeb.

It conflicts with a Skull & Bones meeting.

Looks like Jeb sitting behind the president. Is that Marvin behind Marchand? Can't say I've ever seen a picture of the guy.
When asked later why he would not attend the World Golf H of F ceremony, POTUS 41 said, "not gonna do it, wouldn't be prudent."

Not attending...what's that tell ya? Even he knows it's a farce.

Bush in Golf Hall of Fame?? What did he ever do to deserve that? I guess they ran out of high quality names,
and went to the back ups just so they could have a ceremony. A crock of shit if you ask me. Bush was a
crappy president also if you ask me. How about some studs like Clint Eastwood instead of duds like Bush!

Can not imagine why he was even nominated - much less elected. His family had roots to the USGA - same old story; Bush's keep riding each other's coattails. I can not name one thing he actually has done for the game - so he was a one-term U.S. President that was an 18 handicapperand played golf in a cart at neck-break speed.....this gets him into the Hall of Fame? Sort was diminishes the meaning of those that deservently are already inducted.
