Chopra Wins On Fourth Extra Hole; Rory's Shin Splints Apparently Better But He Won't Say

Mark Lamport-Stokes reports on Chopra's exciting win that gets him in the Masters.

Meanwhile, AP's Doug Ferguson tried to talk to Rory Sabbatini to find out if he would be returning his Target World Challenge last place check after his suspicious WD.

"I'm done talking to you guys," he said.

Well, you really aren't since you said something.

Approached a few minutes later at his locker, Sabbatini said, "I have nothing to say."

Not even about his change in golf equipment?

"I'll let my clubs do the talking," he said.

Good get by the Adams people!

Im really worried in Chips ability to lead if he says something like this....

Chip Brewer, Adams Golf president and CEO. "We believe that building a PGA Tour presence is important for our brand and that Rory can greatly contribute towards this goal. We also believe in Rory both as a person and a player.

I just don't see Rory picking up the torch from Tom Watson.

I also believe that Rory IS a person and a player.

I think we should cut Chip a little slack.

Without Chip Brewer Adams Golf would likely be no longer. Early on, he made incredibly difficult cuts in their operation to reduce their burn rate, invested heavily in R&D, and built a brand through quality products over the course of the past 5 or 6 years.

Let's wait at least a few months before attacking his leadership ability over the signing of a controversial player. And no, I don't work for Adams...

Looks like Chip knew what he was doing, Rory already drawing attention to the Adams products...

...as Bill Laimbeer once said, it's better to be hated than forgotten!

I have to believe that TW had something to do with Rory leaving the NIKE family and taking his arrogant act to ADAMS.
