From looking at an aerial view of 14 green, I would think that the best hole location is somewhere on the left hand side (golfer's view) in the event the hole plays at 277 and is drivable. Why not sweeten the pot for the golfer on the tee and give him something he can really get close to for a possible 2?
If Davis sets the hole short, which I hopes he does, what would be the point of putting the hole behind the front right bunker?
