Obama Tees It Up

Gene Park and B.J. Reyes report on Presidential candidate Barrack Obama's round of golf in Hawaii, while local station KGMB has video footage of his swing. It needs work, but hey, he's been a little busy.

Over at WorldGolf.com, William Wolfrum has fun with Cokie Roberts (I know, easy pickings) and her suggestion that if Obama wants to appear more American, he'd be vacationing in Myrtle Beach instead of elitist, foreign soil like...Hawaii. (Yes, you have to watch the YouTube video to believe it.)

**if Obama wants to appear more American, he'd be vacationing in Myrtle Beach instead of elitist, foreign soil like...Hawaii.**

Not to mention it's the place where he grew up, and where his grandmother lives. God forbid the guy visit his grandmother. And Myrtle Beach, with all those golf courses? Sounds a little elitist to me. If he really wanted to prove that he was a real American, he would have vacationed in East St. Louis, like all the real salt of the earth types do.

Ok, so did they flip the image to facilitate the inevitable, "from the left" quip, or is Obama truly a lefty?

The quote from Cokie is "some foreign, exotic place" not "elitist, foreign soil like...Hawaii." I do agree, however, that her position is ridiculous at best...

I have visited a few other websites related to this subject in the past few days in doing a research report for my project. I have to say that what you're saying here makes perfect sense and is helping me to get my head around this subject. Do you have any other blogs you could recommend to help my research?

Thanks,
