Tommy Snell reports on the Captain's Challenge made-to-plug-a-resort made-for-TV match and notes...

Beau Rivage public relations director Mary Cracchiolo realized the importance of such an event for the Coast.

"This is such a wonderful opportunity to have players of this caliber on the Mississippi Gulf Coast," she said. "I hope everyone has a chance to watch this amazing challenge when it airs on The Golf Channel."

The event will air 32 times.
Guess we don't need to worry about recording it!

So the potential is there to view all 32 airings and see Paul Azinger make 544 pars and 32 double bogeys.

...The Golf Channel doesnt have any other interesting shows filling up time slots so why not.

Deadspin reports that TGC is adding another reality program: Can the swing of Sir Charles be fixed? Hank Haney (and others, I guess) will try to correct that awful swing featured here a few weeks ago. From the original source blog:
