Did Anyone See This Happen?

Any viral videos out there of Tiger shank-plunking Mail on Sunday shutterbug Mark Pain's Nikon? The shot is an epic though, either way.

I thought it was nice of his paper to post the shots of him walking away in shame!

Priceless expressions in that photo. Stevie actually looks concerned for a photographer. Tiger looks satisfied. The guy with the cigar? Hilarious. And the guy to his right (viewer's perspective) of the cigar guy is great.

I don't know how much the lens cost to replace, but it was worth it for this shot.

Holy crap, already with Cigar Guy mania! HA! Thanks for the link, jw. Too funny.
Yes. Tiger fatted the chip so the ball was really not going at the camera very hard....and Stricker was already on the green in good position do Tiger was trying a nearly impossible flop from a muddy lie.

Good thing Tiger wasn't trying to hit his stinger.
Reminds me of when Bob Jones did the same thing to the lens of a film camera while he was making his famous instructional videos. I think it was with a 3-wood. Nailed it. And they kept it. Anyway, Europe sure does produce great golfers.

Oops! Instructional ... films. Sorry! Much luv.

Miss Priss: Tiger did do his own take on the Bobby Jones "hit the camera lens" thing, too. But like every other thing Tiger ever did that someone else did first, he still took and was given credit for doing it first. Like chipping with a fairway wood. Chi Chi did it decades before Tiger, but everybody marveled at Tiger imagination, creativity and giving something new to golf. Blaaach.

This really is an instant classic. Cigar Guy is great, but I also love the little kid squatting next to the cameraman. And the look on Stevie's face is priceless.

When this happened I didn't realize it got that high up, but so be it. I have the pic as my desktop.....hours of fun!

The lilac duds on the US guys reminds me of Le Cage.

Big deal... Woods chunks a pitch out of a soggy lie.

What I REALLY remember about this episode were the bobbing shadows of the spectators directly behind Woods. I also saw photograhers in front of him crouching around as he was addressing the ball. Even WORSE was the photographer that actually SNAPPED HIS SHUTTER on Woods' backswing, causing him to bail out while officials admonished the idiot.

How in the HELL such amateur "professional" photographers cannot simply obey the rules is beyond me. The British newspaper industry remains a complete joke. (Thanks, Rupert!)

Mulligan, WTF are you talking about? Seriously, WTF are you talking about? Tiger took credit for chipping with a fairway wood? Please provide evidence of that. I suspect it would be fine with Tiger if nobody ever knew this particualr incident happened, all respect to Bobby Jones. Now I'm even more convinced you are a truther....

LOL Seriously dude - total LOL.
You need to either relax or let Tiger know about how strong your feelings are for him, maybe he'll meet you at a pancake house for a little action in his SUV. You have a serious man-crush.

Anyway Tiger was supposed to be prepared for all that stuff by the exceptional training he was given by his Dad and the military style approach to honing his focus.

Cigar guy is the best thing that ever happened.

While this is a pretty cool shot regardless of who hit it my favorite hosel rocket is still the CBS Swing Vision slow motion shot of Darren Clarke on #17 at the 2004 PGA at Whistling Straits.
