"I feel pretty positive that we'll start to slowly build back his partnership base."

Nancy Armour looks at the state of Tiger's endorsement deals and talks to agent Mark Steinberg, who's waiting on the brand rebuilding to have reformulated the platform enough to field metrically value-worthy offers.

Though Steinberg did not give specifics, he said he is talking with an Asian company based outside of China about an endorsement deal. He also said Woods will have a new logo on his bag "at some point next year"; the Tiger Woods Foundation logo was on his bag at the HSBC Champions and Australian Masters.

"I feel pretty positive that we'll start to slowly build back his partnership base," Steinberg said.

At this point Tiger would take a North Korean deal.
does anyone besides Tiger and his team give a shit if he ever makes another dollar? i doubt it

Asia? Outside of China? I have a colleague from China who tells me that the Year of the Tiger has only made him more attractive as a corporate "asset" in his native land. Could that be where his "partnership base" arises anew? And has TIm Finchem inhabited the mind of Steiny?
Your mocking of business-speak would have more bite if you didn't concurrently mangle the basics (Ie: using the possessive "whose" in place of the context appropriate contraction "who's")

I kind of like the "whose" in that spot--it hints at the ambiguity between Tiger the human being and Tiger the corporation.

Thanks for the scolding George! Remember, I went to Pepperdine.

The US still has possibilities. KFC, Hertz, combative video games, for example.

When I see comments like these ,I sometimes conclude that people are very envious of TW $ millions.True, false?. From my point of view, I think that TW is paid millions in endorsements because he wins golf tournaments at a phenomenal clip and people tune in or turn up in droves to watch him. This exposure allows the sponsors who uses him, world wide exposure. So this is called a" quid pro quo ". Also known as capitalism at its highest level. So why the snark guys. America has a republican constitution, therefore anyone by dint of hard work and ability can make millions too. My advice to you all - Get off your doffs and stop waiting on Uncle Sam to hand out your millions
