I would hate to think how much money i would spend on repairs if i threw my laptop after every bad round i had.

Wouldn't it be cheaper just to buy a new laptop? Maybe he just got his data back on a new laptop.

Laptops have hard drives in them and unless they are the new solid state hard drives, they do not respond well to being thrown or dropped.
