Bjorn Tries To One-Up Monty In Bad Publicity Race

I'm not sure what this means for the team Europe except that Thomas Bjorn will likely not be Monty's replacement this year or in 2012. Mark Reason reports.

I'm sick and tired of these European golfers who care more about what the PGA Tour's sponsors can do for their bank balance than they do for what they themselves can do to support the sport that has made them rich in their own country and continent. Tour pros are some of the most selfish and short-sighted people around.

The good news this morning is that the United States is down to 10 players in the combined men's and women's top hundred in tennis. An impossible dream for the future of golf? And if it happened, would the sport change direction and aim for a global future, rather than one in which 200 countries get buggered by the PGA Tour commissioner?
