According to the commentary on masters.com it took Tiger's group almost 6 hours to get around, which means that all of them were going that slow in the afternoon. All I can ask is, "Why in the name of Bob Jones does the Committee allow this?"
Exceent question Ky, I was there Thurs. and there was no urgency for groups way behind, yet on 5:25 pace. It was if they were puposely playing slow,. Surreal.....and sickening.
Sad that this is even a story. Wow - a group of three letting a twoball through! My goodness. I mean, surely Sean O'Hair deserves a medal of some kind? I play in China and even the golfers here (where I play) know enough about etiquette to do this.

Probably didn't help that the idiots paired Na, Crane and Jacobsen, who were one of the early starters on day 2......

You can only play as fast as the group ahead of you.
It is up to the officials to see that everyone keeps pace.
Until they start penalizing with stokes it will never get better.
