Ouch, what do have against cigars, Geoff? Or is it the nanny-state California that has gotten to you (I live here too, so I understand).

Who said I have anything against them? I'm all for killing off any part of the population stupid enough to suck on those things!

Thank you, Miguel Angel, for strengthening the species...

There's few pleasures in life that match a good cigar during a round of golf.

Having said that, it is no secret that real men are disappearing. Google The disappearing Male.

And few things more aggravating then a large pile of gar ashes in your putting line.

Seems like a PGA Tour hot shot, even one with a pony tail, would have his caddie hold it for him.

I don't smoke cigars often, but I have had one from time to time on a course. Who brings them on the green, though? You leave them off on the side where they don't leave ashes and the like.

I watched a retired general burn up most of a driving range with his stogie once. Dry with high winds, it only took about 90 seconds to scorch well over 200 yards of grass.

The grass rebounded better than ever!

Ponytail, gut, cigar, in that order.

"You leave them off on the side where they don't leave ashes and the like. "

You do...many don't.
