DVR Alert: Rocco On Feherty

I ran into David Feherty strolling his second home--the DFW airport--and asked him how the Rocco show Monday was and he reported that Mediate was in great spirits. Hardly surprising that those two could yammer up storm about the '08 US Open, Arnold Palmer, the long putter and other stuff, as evidenced by the preview clip.

The show first airs Monday, May 13 at 10 pm ET.

Geoff, they changed the URL on you so the preview's not working.

Rocco should be on TV more though, so this is good news.

Feherty seems to getting thin on guests. Would be nice if interviewed Ben Crenshaw, maybe Gil Hanse and someone who has changed the landscape of golf, Mike Keiser.

I like David. I have not watched one show this year...that opening attempt at standup comedian/talk show host just deflates his schtick to pablum for me.

I am interested in the Faldo and Strange shows- have dvr'ed them and deleted them at least 2 times. I think the first season, when Deharty could not get thru a show without playing with his balls just grossed me out.

Mediate may interest some, but he is right there with Trump as far as someone I am interested in viewing for an hour. ZERO.

But I do like Feharty- wish he'd get back on track; he is no Johnny Carson; he is no Jerry Seinfeld. He is a golf announcer, who is funny.

The show has been awesome this year. He should add Goalby, Burke, Jacklin, and Mickey Wright for old school. Couples, Love, Torrance, Olazabal, Janzen, and Vijay for middle school. DJ, Webb, Keegan, Dufner, and Tseng for new school.

Other folks:
Van de Velde (for obvious reasons)
Gil Hanse
Tom Doak
Billy Payne (prob not but would spike ratings)
Tim Finchem
David B Fey

This could be a two people per show as opposed to just one person interviewed per show.
