Warning: Grey Goose 19th Hole Wednesday

Live from the PGA, It'll be yours truly, former USGA Executive Director David Fay and writer John Feinstein bantering about various topics in the game. No, I won't be quizzing you on the segments covered, but as always your viewership and civil feedback is welcomed.

The show airs at 6 pm ET Wednesday and re-airs at 1:30 am ET, 10:30 PT.

Also, Morning Drive watchers, I'll be on the extended show at 10:30 am ET to talk Oak Hill with Gary Williams, Damon Hack and the gang.

I hope your presence livens Morning Drive up and makes it watchable. Tell those guys enough with the benign chit chat about their own golf games. Every time I tune in, Damon Hack is talking about some good shot he hit the day before. Who cares? Gary Williams does nothing but spur him on. It's like they can't think of anything to talk about to fill the air time because they've been given waaayyyy too much airtime for what they could be discussing that viewers might find interesting.

By the way, there is so much interesting stuff that they could be talking about, but the producers are just so lazy or so stupid or a combination of both that the show is just pure drivel. There are no shortage of very unique, interesting, quirky things to talk about each and every week. It just takes time and effort to figure out what they are and report on them.

Also...I hope you avoid the pastel Peter Millar wardrobe outfitting. I'm not saying you need to go with the $2000 Rosaforte bespoke suit, but...

@Chris what are your thoughts on Matt Ginella or Matty G as they call him? Haven't seen Ahmad Rashad on the show lately either...hmmm maybe they are listening to feedback from people who watch the show. I miss Erik K. He at least tried to liven the set up each morning.

I hope you discuss Tiger Woods. He seems to fly under the radar.

Forget the PGA, I hope you talk about Firestone, Jose Maria Olazabal and the changes at St. Andrews.

Saw you, and while your opinion may b that MD has been good lately, I hope you were just blowing air up their dresses, because I have been dvr ing for months and watching way less than half the show.

AGREE- Hack golf game- who cares.

AGREE- way too much interesting going on in golf to have show after show devoted to yet another person's opinion of Tiger.
WE GET IT.
OPINION- Matt G. just pisses me off, on several levels.

OPINION-Shouldn't someone tell Gary that Don Johnson called and wanted his pink and baby blue clothes back, from his 1970's
closet.

OPINION- Print writers know this, but these wannabe media personalities need to know that you an say ''first name, last name''- and ten you can say either the first OR last name from that pont forward- hearing Charlie, or Williams, or that terrible golfer/wannabe broadcaster Tripp Isenhour, who says a persons first and last name as many as 4 times in a single sentence. Get rid of him.

And while we're on Golf Channel personalities, could Tim Rosaforte and Brandel Chamblee be any more serious talking about the GAME of GOLF? It's a GAME. It's not Assad using chemical weapons against his own people. It's not even Snowden getting asylum in Russia. It's a GAME that a bunch of uber-rich, private jet flying, Peter Millar wearing dudes have the absolute privilege to play for a living. Yeah...I get it...it's their job. It's still a game and there should be some level of joy attached to it.

Every time they cut to Rosie or Chamblee, all I see is a grimacing pseudo reporter very seriously talking about some unconsequential stuff that really only matters to a very few humans on the planet. All grimaces...no smiles.

SMILE. LAUGH. ENJOY. It's GOLF!!!!

@ digs couldn't agree more. Great description of the wannabe show!

@ Chris You are 100% It should be FUN!
Ahmad Rashad fell foul of Kelly Tilghman and Kelly won. AR reassigned. I didn't care a lot for Erik Kuselius but he kept the show tight. Gary is OK but a bit lightweight. The show is too long for every day which results in endless, meaningless banter. I don't know what Holly is saying half the time. One guy who impresses me is Peter Jacosen.

Geoff... you're doing great on 19th! .. embrace it...be self-deprecating....this is a great opportunity. Your insight could add a lot to these droll pregame shows. No one wants to see the snooty expert, give us some humor and more explanations. Really enjoy your content, but it's time to capitalize!

Have to agree with your observation made on the GG 19th program RE: the crowd at the Ryder Cup at Bethpague Black.
