Ellie Day, wife of Jason Day, was taken off in a stretcher after Lebron James dove for a ball and crashed into the PGA Champions' wife.

That does not look good for Ellie. She took a forearm shiver and the majority of his body weight going full tilt. Probably no room at behind where her head and neck were driven downward. Hope there is he has no serious injuries and the stretcher is just a precaution

Doesn't look like that back barrier moved so I don't think she hit that.

Wow. Scary. James goes a solid 250 and add in the speed like getting hit by an NFL linebacker. ESPN is reporting she is alert, speaking, doing ok....but she'll surely be sore for a while. Hello luxury box!!

'Hello luxury box!!'

No kidding, you really have to stay aware when you are sitting that close to the floor and even then sometimes there is nothing to do but brace yourself.

Glad to see Lebron stopped to check she was ok...

Hope she is OK. It really wasn't Ellie's ..... Day

LeBron must take after Tiger. He really enjoys putting the moves on the white ladies.

My apologies
You can't get closer to the action than at an NBA game. I hope she is ok.

(DTF-- this is all your fault.)
Geez, LeBron, it's only a regular season game... in December to boot.

Nice effort there JD. What would Hogan have done.

Ellie Day's Twitter feed - December 12th "Best place to stay in Cleveland for a Cavs game?"

Answer: Not the front row.

Heard she is fine, which means she is lucky.

Given the price of court side seats, I can only assume that anytime a player goes into the first row it has a decent chance of being newsworthy. Replace: "Wife of golfer" with "CEO of X" or "Musical superstar" or "Noted billionaire...."

After finally viewing the play, LeBron could've done just a little effort to not put full weight of himself on the crashee... almost looked like a WWE move at the end.

Not that this is comparable to Tiger, but feel Jason's inner mojo may take a hit for this at least temporarily.

At least Ellie didn't make the comparison of getting hit like that as to say...... a bus.

Not bad considering what Thrustin Johnson was doing to PGA wives!
