Instagram: Some Golfers Age More Gracefully Than Others

Gary Player is still tinkering with this swing and some Rory McIlroy-inspired posture looks pretty strong.

Jack Nicklaus tests a putter and some sock style that works at certain clubs in Australia and Bermuda.

And then there's Greg Norman.

After 63 revolutions around the sun, time to celebrate!!

In the UK sock rules are a minefield. Whilst the pairing of white socks and black shoes is never going to be a good look, Jack would be fine with the sock rule at my club in London. The rule is white socks with no logos that come above the ankle or knee length socks of any plain colour. I don't know if any top clubs in the UK that allow invisible socks that are de rigeur at US clubs. I find wearing them so odd that I always wear socks like Jack's when I play in the US, which always raise a few comments. I do pair them with clean white shoes though!

As a husband in Jack's age demographic, this is exactly how the conversation went down:

Jack: "Barb, how come I don't have any clean, dark colored socks?"

Barbara: "How the hell should I know? You own the damn company. Tell them to send you a gross. I did enough laundry for the family while you were running around playing golf."

Is there any chance that Norman hasn’t undergone hormone replacement therapy? 63 year old men just don’t look like that without an assist or two.

@cmoore

I don't know about Norman, but if I had his money and connections...I'd be liven off of HGH..and looking fabulous!!

For a guy who sells so many shirts, how come Norman can never find one?

That indeed is a beautiful swing from Player, at 82 years old!

@cmoore, 30-somethings didn’t look, or for that matter hit a driver, like Norman did 30 years ago either...
