9th Hole Before and After Images
As with other holes, we tried to eliminate some of the bunker areas that were wasted (and only creating downhill lies and unsafe entry points). Aesthetics and drainage where key here as well. The parking lot to the rear of the green creates excess run off, so the back bunker's top edge had to be reconfigured to divert water. At the same time, we had to maintain enough of a face so that you could see some sand from the fairway.

Rear bunkers after renovation. Note that it becomes one bunker and is brought closer to the green, with fringe cut now leading directly up to bunker edge.
