4th Hole Before and After Photos
The fourth featured one bunker with great potential (greenside) and not so much potential (fairway bunker).

The first hole we worked on featured drab, tired bunkering.
The after view, with the front left and back bunkers having been changed significantly, and while it's not apparent here, the back bunker is more in play for rear hole locations thanks to a reduction in sand build up.
The seventh hole was opened up down the right side, providing never-before-seen views of the lovely oaks in the creek bed. Naturally, there was opposition to this but the hole is less claustrophobic and much more scenic. The bunkering was bland and creating way too many downhill plugged lies. Here is the before view:
The after view where we consolidated the three rear bunkers into two, eliminated the possiblity of downhill lies and added more shape and hopefully character to the hole.
Below, the rear view before the renovation.

Some of the first bunkers we worked on and there was not much to work with here due to space constraints and poor construction of the original (circa 1995) bunkers installed here, but we hopefully have solved some of the sand build-up issues while making the hazards a bit more visible.

The after view (note some of the clearing work in the right trees):
As with other holes, we tried to eliminate some of the bunker areas that were wasted (and only creating downhill lies and unsafe entry points). Aesthetics and drainage where key here as well. The parking lot to the rear of the green creates excess run off, so the back bunker's top edge had to be reconfigured to divert water. At the same time, we had to maintain enough of a face so that you could see some sand from the fairway.
The first view is of No. 9 from the right rough, prior to the project.

Rear bunkers after renovation. Note that it becomes one bunker and is brought closer to the green, with fringe cut now leading directly up to bunker edge.
