Yes, K.J. Is Really Putting This Way...

...I had to see it to believe that K.J. Choi had gone all Sam Snead on us. For some reason I don't think I'm going to run up to Ladbrookes to place a bet after seeing this:

I like the fact that it looks illegal.

It is only illegal if it is between his legs.

I knew Randy Haig was a forward thinker

I saw Snead have some good putting rounds that way.

Read the book " Golf's Sacred Journey: Seven Days at the Links of Utopia" by Dr. David Cook and you will at least consider the method.
KJ Choi: OUT!

Any human being that has to result to that kind of putter, that kind of stance and stroke will be on the first plane back to Seoul!

Well, I just took a group of kids out on the practice green for lessons and instantly four putted three of the four greens we played.

KJ Choi: IN
Tommy Naccarato: OUT!

The Parallax View.
Made for a great movie. Not sure it translates that well to putting.

Even I can lag a three footer closer than that.

That surely can't be effective in hitting long putts (which there can be plenty of at TOC) on slowish greens (reportedly stimping below 10).

I thought KJ was a pretty solid putter. Obviously he doesn't think so.

Is he curling or putting?

Seriously guys, that's nothing more than an open stance...think about it.

Saw him on the highlights of a recent PGA Tour tournament - two lengthy putts, both went in. There could be something to it

A guy in my foursome putts this way and he's damn hard to beat. I think it should be illegal, once they get the hang of it, it's much much easier.

What would the rule say?

"No open stances allowed"....??

If that were the case would Pelz's one-hand backwards wedge chipout then be declared illegal???
