Jordan Spieth Wins The Majors Made Cut Title...By 19

Jim McCabe is the first to post the 2015 majors scoreboard consisting of those who made the cut in all four championships.

Only 18 did it this year and Spieth's 54-under total no only prevailed by 19 over Jason Day, but beat Tiger's total of -53 from 2000.

The full list is here.

"Only 18 did it this year" That's the record so the "only" is misplaced.

It's great for me to see this score being made known and discussed even during the PGA Championship by the commentators. Frank Nobilo sadi when the top 5 scores were shown "If you want to know who are doing best this year".
He might have mentioned that 2 years ago Jason Day and Adam Scott tied.

What is amazing is that the feat is not recognized and a trophy presented to the winner. (Regulars here will get my sarcasm).
Maybe JS will one day catch or eclipse Nicklaus' 19-runner-ups at majors. He's got the putting stroke to be knocking on major doors for many years.

And the number would be 19 if Rory had some common sense... and I think Jason and Jordan would be neck and neck over the final 3; the Masters was an outlier.
