Video: Mickelson Says "Let's Take A Moment To Admire That I Just Hit A Fairway"

Fun stuff in the final round at Safeway Open, where Mickelson hit 15 of 56 fairways, though as he noted post-round as captured by PGATour.com's Mike McAllister, some are as narrow as 13 yards in spots.

Really, the rough wasn't much of an issue at least off of the fairways - the only penalty for missing was the trees on either side, or the bunkers, and they were sporadic - He hit almost 70% GIR for the week.

Self depreciating humor is the best kind.

It was really an exciting tournament, especially with the wind blowing on Sunday.

They EVACUATED later in the evening as the wind fueled a fire close to the resort.

what did anyone think of Johnny casually visiting in the booth? Sort of a different guy talking about his courses, and being *asked* about the young players, as opposed to *announcing* about same. Very candid, it seeemd.
