Senator Graham Says President Trump Shot 73 In Wind & Rain!

I know Senator Lindsey Graham was trying to please his host. But given that the host holds the highest office in the land and presumably doesn't want it to look like he's getting so proficient at golf that he's nearly shooting his age, this is pretty funny:

I believe Trump shot 73. They should just disclose which hole it was on.

I'm telling ya, Donny 2 Scoops is trying harder than ever to emulate Kim Jong-il.
Next month we can expect a round of 48 to be tweeted out!

Trump is a legitimately good golfer, unlike several of his predecessors. **cough, cough**
Years ago in a listing of golfers in the entertainment industry, he was listed as a GHIN 4-Handicap.

And they probably played either the White Tees, or the Senior Tees....which is appropriate for their ages.

Fake news!!!

What is safer? Donald spending his day on the golf course or developing his plans for North Korea and healthcare,?

From the standpoint of the repubs, good things will come of this. For Trump, I think it was probably time well spent.

@BrianS

Only if the person is a rich Republican 1% who will get a huge tax cut. The rest of us mere mortals will see tax increases because he was able to get an extra vote from a spineless politician by playing a round of golf with him. And according to those selling his tax plan for him people on the lower rungs will get about 1k a year in taxes with which to "buy a car". Probably a really sad sad car!

Lots of triggered folks here. Keep the laughs coming boys!
And this just now from a FORBES interview:

He counterpunches, in this case firing a shot at Secretary of State Rex Tillerson, who reportedly called his boss a moron: "I think it's fake news, but if he did that, I guess we'll have to compare IQ tests. And I can tell you who is going to win."

He is truly a f#@*ing moron.

Played in a charity event 10 yrs ago at his club in Westchester....got the chance to see Trump on the range and the putting green while warming up ....and also from a distance across fairways.....his swing is a bit unusual (like a lot of us) but he struck the ball OK and looked like a decent senior club player...certainly not a hack....but I never bought into his ultra low GHIN or stories of him shooting par at various courses (a number of those urban legends and his club championships 'wins' pop up around metro-NYC now and then)....it's fake news and ego building....my guess is he proabbly can scare 80 on his best days but nore likely 84-88 would seem like his number...of course the forward tees can shave several stokes off those guesstimates.

Anybody think Trump putts out anything inside four feet?

Hello?

So we know Linda Graham is a liar, too.

A friend caddied for him at Winged Foot some years ago. George Steinbrenner and Bill Fugazy were also in the foursome. He said Trump was about a 13 handicap. Decent club player but nothing special. And this was when he was younger.

I have a book called Presidential Lies, which looks in detail at the golf games of all the presidents up to I think Clinton. Only two didn't play, Calvin Cooledge, who I don't think did anything fun at all, and Jimmy Carter, who preferred tennis. All the others did play golf to one extent of another. The book concludes that the best golfer to have been president was JFK, but it wasn't widely known that he played and indeed played to a 5 handicap or better, because he was worried it would make him look (even more) elitist. It's a good book, I recommend it.

@hornblower, caddies at his Bedminister club have also relayed stories that cast doubt on his handicap.

"His Orangeness shot a 73 in windy and wet conditions, and he's a race-baiting, xenophobic, religious bigot!"

Don't want his GHIN on my scramble team.

And Senator Graham said ... "How do you think this all got started."

With all the sucking up by Senator Graham to Trump, I'd say Graham scored a 69.
